Marie-Louise, a Phi Beta Kappa Graduate of UC Berkeley, is a performer, teacher, arranger, and composer whose composition 'Make My World Beautiful' has been published by Columbia-Warner Bros. in their book 'The Wedding Present'. Her performances range from a debut recital at the age of seven with members of the San Francisco Symphony, through engagements as intermission pianist for George Shearing, Errol Garner, Dave Brubeck, and Oscar Peterson, to a recent guest soloist appearance with the San Francisco Concerto Orchestra in the Shostakovitch 2nd Piano Concerto. As a winner in both the Classical and Jazz divisions of the 1999 Steinway-Boston National Competition, she has been acclaimed by the Daily Californian as "one of the most versatile musicians on the West Coast".
