Amore-Images  > Adventure > Arleen's Bio
"Live life to the fullest because you'll never know what your expiration date is." Arleen's Tip of the Day -

Amore-Images > Photo that won an all-expense paid week's vacation through Interval International.
Amore-Images > Other than just cruisin', Arleen also took up motorcross. This was her second trip to Mexico. Arleen and her friend Dave sit idely during the Baja 250 Race. (Look at that back tire!)
Amore-Images > Photo that was published in the Ottawa Citizen, Canada 2003. Arleen took this picture hanging out the car window while trying to stop other deer from popping their heads through.
Amore-Images > After 5 days of hiking the Macchu Picchu Trail in Peru to the ruins, Arleen still didn't have enough! She hiked to the peak of that mountin behind her later that day.
Amore-Images > That's me feeding these Giant Sea Turtles in the Caribbean.
Amore-Images > You'd make faces too wondering what the birds would do next when the bucket's empty.
Amore-Images > Our offerings to the Peruvian porters after the 5 day journey to see Macchu Picchu. These guys will carry greater than 50-pounds up the mountain for you if you asked!
Amore-Images > This is the same mother who told me when I was a teen, that I should never ride a motorcycle. Printed in the Harley Enthusiast magazine.
Amore-Images > Something about mountains- I always have to climb them! (Mt. Shasta, California).
Amore-Images > Did you know that the leopards in Africa not only sleep in trees but they can pull their kill up the tree to eat in peace?
Amore-Images > I'm beat! Hundreds of miles touring the mountainsides sure makes you weary...(Copper Canyon in Chihuahua, Mexico).
Amore-Images > In the Amazon, there is always a means to get around obstacles. The village folks here constructed a bridge for us. I didn't get wet at all!
Amore-Images > The sunsets here are spectacular! That's the Sphinx in the background.
Amore-Images > A porcupine fish! Beware- this is not the type of pet you would want to cuddle. (Costa Rica).
Amore-Images > People always told me to slow down. So I did, breaking my ankle in the Mendocino Mountains of California while trying to keep up with my hubby on his motorcycle. The exciting part was the helicopter ride out of the mountains to Enloe Hospital in Chico. Even then the excitement didn't end! That's Mom and me.
Amore-Images > Me- goofing around with my sister's media equipment. (Chicago, IL).
Amore-Images > Although I way "only" 50-pounds, this ostritch egg wasn't going to break under my light-weight. (Curacao, Carribean)
Amore-Images > I almost lost Greg to the Mud Gods. He lost control while driving over a hidden pipe while riding in the rain- that's his BMW teetering on the edge. (Chihuahua, Mexico).
Amore-Images > I think I look more Asian under water- don't you?
Amore-Images > Recumbent bikes are the way to go- it's just like sitting on a Harley? (At my in-laws in Ottawa, Canada).
Amore-Images > My scary ride through Hanoi in Vietnam. I think my guide thought he was driving a car. Like my nervous smile?
Amore-Images > Arleen's sweet ride on a 2000 Harley Sportster 883. She headed straight to the Harley dealer to purchase this cruiser just after passing her DMV motorcycle test. (California).
Amore-Images > Me bathed in the sunset during a hike in the park preserve behind our house. (East Bay, California).
Amore-Images > I'm shooting a MP-5. This was when I was in training with law enforcement- If I'm not shooting with a camera then it's with a...
Amore-Images > Kevin Costner may "dance with wolves"- but I "swim with the dolphins".
Amore-Images > Wait for me Moses!---This 3-day journey through the desert led to 10 years of marriage with my just-as-active husband, Greg. ( Giza, Egypt).
Amore-Images > Hangin' out at the Fire Dept. This weekend was spent working security at the 50th Harley Davidson Rally in Hollister, CA.
Amore-Images > This is what free-falling really means! That's the snow covered Sierra mountains in the background. (Hollister, Ca.)
Amore-Images > The views at the Grand Canyon just takes your breath away! We hiked to the bottom and camped at Phantom Ranch for 2 nights and trudged back to the Rim. (Aargh! Whew!)
Amore-Images > Mosaic art always catch my eye. It would have been a terrific place for wedding photo shoots. (Lima, Peru).
Amore-Images > "Arleen, in falling off a cross-country motocycle, further expanded her perspective to that of a wheelchair occupant." as my father-in-law suggested I add to this bio.

What a way to see Toronto! I'm still in my wheelchair and my brother-in-law is carting me around with his recumbent bike. How delightful- AY !
